Pandora: The World of Avatar

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Walt Disney World fans now know when they will be able to travel to the mysterious world of Pandora.

The resort announced Tuesday that the new “Pandora: The World of Avatar” land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open to the public on Saturday, May 27.

The new land will be fully-immersive, placing visitors inside the world of the blockbuster movie, Avatar.

While inside, guests will find two new rides to enjoy, including Avatar: Flight of Passage, where visitors will ride a Mountain Banshee through the jungles and floating mountains of Pandora.

The Na’vi River Journey is a family-friendly ride down a sacred hidden river within a glowing rainforest.
