UPDATE (7/7/16): As WFTV reports, a children’s baseball coach has been arrested for allegedly groping three boys (ages seven, 12 and 13). Nicholas Groth, who was in town for a baseball tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports, was identified by a victim and is being held on no bond. Groth apparently admitted to police that he did inappropriately touch the young boys on Sunday night.
According to WKMG, a 7-year-old boy said a man grabbed him three times Sunday night while swimming in a pool at a Walt Disney World resort as revealed through a report from the Orange County Sherriff’s Office. The report did not indicate which pool at the resort the incident occurred at.
The alleged incident was reported around 9:40 p.m. on July 3.
The boy and his parents told sheriff’s deputies that a man believed to be 30 to 40 years old grabbed the boy’s buttocks three times.
The Sheriff’s Office told WKMG that it is investigating the sex crime, but no other details, including whether the man was arrested, have been released.
