Parking Restrictions at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds

For those that enjoy visiting Fort Wilderness for the beautiful natural landscape or to try many of the restaurants and/or outdoor activities, Disney has made changes to the parking restrictions at the resort.
Access to parking will now be limited to guests with resort, dining, or activity reservations within the complex.
This means that if you were planning to stop by and enjoy the nightly campfire, quick-serv restaurants or the marina, unless you are staying at the resort or have reservations at one of the restaurants you will not be allowed to park a vehicle at the resort.
To be able to visit Fort Wilderness, you will need to use Walt Disney World Transportation to gain access. Buses and Boats leave the Magic Kingdom to the resort with additional boats service from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Contemporary Resort.
Parking restrictions may be due to the construction that is currently underway at the resort for the new Disney lakeside resort “Reflections” and also expanded new stables at the Tri-Circle D Ranch.
