Fast Pass+ Tiers are Changing at Hollywood Studios

The long dreaded “Tiers” for FastPass+ reservations are going to be changing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Beginning on August 29th (the same day that Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opens.), Toy Story Mania!, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, AND The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will all be in the “Tier 1” for advanced FastPass+ selections.

Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will remain in the “Tier 2” category.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will not use the FastPass+ options, so it is not included within this change.

Those that are not familiar with the “Tier” system of selecting advanced FastPass+ reservations, it goes as follows:  You may only select ONE Tier 1 FastPass and TWO Tier 2 FastPasses for a total of three Advanced FastPass+ reservations.

So this basically means that anyone selecting advanced FastPass+ reservations for Hollywood Studios MUST choose Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy as their second and third FastPasses.

Remember, once you have exhausted all three of your advanced selections, you are then able to select additional FastPasses if they are available.
