Here’s another way that Disney hopes to reel in more of its visitors money. Starting October 16, 2018, Disney World will be using a tier-based ticket pricing system
where ticket prices range from $109 to $129. Of course, the $129 price will be for the more popular times of the year to visit Disney, such at Christmas, February Vacations, Spring Break and Summertime. Disney claims that this is to motivate visitors to come during the slower times and save on ticket prices.
“These changes are designed to simplify the booking experience, give guests an enhanced way to purchase theme park tickets and help them more easily plan the Disney vacation of their dreams.”
Disney has also created a website where visitors can purchase tickets and be able to see if they are visiting in “Peak Season”.
