Best Places to Eat In Disney World If You’re Lactose Intolerant
Posted by: Admin on: January 15, 2018
Going out to eat if you’re lactose intolerant can be a huge pain. You find yourself constantly having to ask for things made special, and of course, the inevitable, “Did I remember my pills?” This can make eating on vacation seem stressful, but luckily Disney offers many items that traditionally contain milk in dairy or lactose-free options. Learning about these locations made my vacation less stressful and my tummy even more happy!
1. Be Our Guest Restaurant
(Magic Kingdom- New Fantasyland)
For dessert at Be Our Guest restaurant a cart is brought around with numerous desserts, and at first it may seem like everything you can get contains milk. This is not true, because their Berry Sorbet is TO DIE FOR! This Berry Sorbet was one of the best things I had on my vacation and I would recommend it to anyone dining at Be Our Guest.
2. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
(Hollywood Studios)

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is by far one of the best restaurants in Disney World when it comes to theming, and it also has dairy-free dessert options. Any dessert option that contains ice cream here can be replaced with vanilla Tofutti and they also offer fruit salad! I strongly recommend the Doughnut Sundae!
3. Aloha Isle
(Magic Kingdom- Adventureland)

A Disney favorite, the Dole Whip is dairy-free! The Dole Whip Float is amazing, and is a must-do for any visitor at the Disney Parks!
4. The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
(Magic Kingdom- Main Street USA)
5. Rainforest Cafe
(Animal Kingdom OR Disney Springs)

Rainforest Cafe offers Maya’s Mango Sorbet which comes with raspberry sauce and is a delicious way to end a meal while surrounded by your favorite jungle creatures!
6. Erin Mckenna’s Bakery NYC
(Disney Springs)

This bakery is absolutely delicious, and EVERYTHING on the menu is dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan! Not only can you buy your favorite goodies at the bakery in Disney Springs, but you can also buy their pre-packaged mini brownie cupcakes in many other places including the Boardwalk, Pop Century Resort, Art of Animation Resort, and The Garden’s Kiosk at Animal Kingdom.
7. Jiko- The Cooking Place
(Animal Kingdom Lodge)

Jiko, like many other restaurants, offers a Tofutti substitute, but you can have mixed berries on it here! They also offer a coconut milk panna cotta, which is highly recommended.
8. Garden Grill
(Epcot- The Land)
On the allergy menu at Garden Grill, there is a dairy-free fruit shortcake! This restaurant also rotates with a view of Living With The Land, and all food is farm fresh. While eating your delicious shortcake you might also see Chip and Dale!
9. Pizzafari
(Animal Kingdom- Discovery Island)

Pizzafari is an amazing quick-serve restaurant, especially for kids. It is decorated with bright colors and has many great options. Another little known fact is that they actually offer four different kinds of dairy-free cheese!
10. Shutter’s Restaurant
(Caribbean Beach Resort)
If you’re staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort, you’re in for a

treat! Shutter’s restaurant offers a dairy-free cupcake and dairy-free cookies!
So there you have it! All of these restaurants are amazing choices for anyone who is lactose intolerant, and I hope this makes your dining on vacation a breeze!
