Beauty & The Beast Bar Announced

Disney has announced that they will be opening a “Beauty & the Beast” themed bar in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

The new venue will replace what is now Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s Mensware.

The bar will feature a magnificent gold chandelier that will be inspired from Belle’s flowing ball gown with hints of the Beast’s magical rose.

Featuring a library area with baroque designs, a garden room and an outside patio to be themed in the style of Beast’s Castle.

The lounge will be themed to represent the romance of the Disney Live-Action “Beauty & the Beast” movie.

So far, reviews are mixed on whether this type of venue belongs in the Grand Floridian and  whether Disney is trying to force its intellectual property into places in where it really just doesn’t fit.
